BEST
OF SHOW (Original Art Only): The $500 for best of show will be awarded to the artist with the best original piece
entered. Best of show will not be based on multiple entries or level of expertise. The preliminary round of elimination
will be anonymous via a voting system. Each ticket holder will be asked (after all door prizes have been drawn) to
write the name of their favorite piece on the back of their entry ticket and place in a container for counting.
The three pieces with the most votes will then be judged by the Knight Family. The Knight Family consists of three individuals
ranging in age and artistic influence. They are a non-bias party and will judge as such. The victor will then be handed
a cash prize of $500.
BIDDING: This
is a silent auction. A minimum bid will be required with no maximum. Bidding will close at 8:30pm. Those
who win an item will be asked to take the item home at the end of the evening.
DEADLINES: Artist dontations should be submitted by February 1st, 2010.
Door prizes will be accepted up to start of event.
DIRECTIONS:
Coming from the South go North on Broadway, Right on Walnut, and Right on 26th. From the North, South on Park Ave.,
Left on Walnut, Right on 26th.
DONATIONS: All donations
are eligible for a tax credit based on the actual value of the item donated. This form will be provided by Angel Eyes
or myself at the time of donation.
FOOD: Gourmet
Fine Catering (gourmetfinecatering.com) has specially prepared a menu consisting of delightful sandwiches, complex cheese trays, savory hot
appetizers, and divine deserts.
PAYMENTS: Cash,
Credit Cards, Debit Cards and Personal Check will all be accepted during the event. The entry fee
can be paid with all of the above. A tab can be ran for those who wish to cash out at the end of
the evening with one transaction. Ask at entry for additional details.
PUBLICITY:
All who donate will be acknowledged at coloradobusinesstherapy.com within days of the event. Artists and door prize donors will be linked to the donors website and/or
email for attendees and others to contact.
RAFFLE: Entry
ticket purchase will result in the receipt of one raffle ticket good for door prize drawings. Drawings will commence
periodically throughout the evening. Additional raffle tickets can be purchaed for $1.
VENUE: Colorado Green Spaces (http://greenspacescolorado.com) in a refurbished warehouse that doubles as rentable office space and gallery space in the RiNo Art District (www.rivernorthart.com). It offers an over-sized entry space suitable for displaying multiple works of art while offering a separated
larger main romm for socializing during events and getting the job done during the day to day.
